The Lunar Nodes Will Change..

On January 18th, 2022 the Nodes of the moon will change sign. The Lunar Nodes are not a planet or object in space. They are points in space where eclipses happen. This means the eclipses moving forward will start a new cycle in the Taurus – Scorpio axis.

The North Node represents our density we are working toward in this lifetime, while the South Node represents our past lives and what we need to shed or release in this lifetime that we have carried with us from the past.

The placements in our own natal chart can help us understand what our purpose is in this lifetime and what we need to release in order to move forward. On a collective note, the nodes can represent our karma and the global lessons that will be brought forward.

The fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius) will feel this change the most.

The mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces) are able to adapt to changes a little bit better so it may not be as difficult.

On a collective note, the nodes can represent our karma and the global lessons that will be brought forward.

North Node – Taurus

The North Node will move into Taurus. Taurus is an earth sign that is sturdy and grounded. Although it is a sturdy sign, it doesn’t do well with change. It is comfortable in the predictability. The rest of the year it is important to call into that grounded and stable energy when making decisions. Especially when there is change. Taurus is also known for abundance, so take the time to think about how you call abundance in your life. On a personal level, you will be asked to connect with how you view yourself. Taurus is ruled by Venus, the planet of love. Which includes self love. So the topic of self-worth will be a great theme to explore this year. Think about how you view yourself. The way you bring self sabotaging behavior into your life may be coming out front and center.

On a collective level, the North Node in Taurus may show us some issues with the financial sector of the world since Taurus rules finance. We could also see our attitudes around money change. We will need to move forward with the decisions and choices we have made. There is no looking back, only moving forward.

 South Node – Scorpio

With the North Node moving into Taurus, that means the South Node will move into Scorpio. The South Node in Scorpio represents the past. Personally, it represents the shedding and purging we need to do in our lives. Scorpio is a deep sign that wants us to work through our issues. It also wants us to celebrate how we have grown. Scorpio in the South Node will be asking you how you have changed? With Pluto being the ruler of Scorpio, this feeling could be intensified. Another thing to think about is how has your relationship with power and control changed? The last time the nodes were in this sign was in April 2003- December 2004. So try to think back to this time to get a feel about how you have changed or the work you still need to do.

As a collective we will see an increase in hackers. They could be on a large scale and could deal with the larger corporations. We could also see an increase in wanting to know about the mysteries of life. What makes the world turn? We can also see changes in power for both the government and big business. Switching positions of leaders is something that could also be seen. With USA’s Pluto return happening in the second house of money this could also show up in a change in the economy.
